Scott Longhurst
President, Trillium Companies

 

Scott Longhurst has been working in the real estate development industry in California since 1990. During that time, he has worked in various advisory and consulting capacities specializing in project management, land use planning and governmental relations.


Mr. Longhurst founded the Trillium Companies along with his partner Flo Mead in 2001 to provide real estate brokerage, land use consulting and project management services to their clients. Mr. Longhurst is responsible for managing the daily operations of the firm as well as developing effective governmental relations and entitlement expediting programs for the firms’ clients. Trillium’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, regional developers and public agencies.


Prior to founding Trillium, Mr. Longhurst served as West Coast Regional Vice President for a large national consulting firm specializing in project management, civil engineering, architecture and land use planning. Mr. Longhurst managed the acquisition, entitlement, permitting and construction of several large, regional wireless telecommunications network developments encompassing all of Southern California and portions of Southern Nevada and Arizona as well as several city-wide projects in Mexico. Mr. Longhurst has also been involved with large development projects such as Playa Vista, Cal Plaza, Loyola Marymount University’s Hilton business school and other residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.


Mr. Longhurst is a licensed California real estate salesperson and notary public and has a master’s degree from the University of Southern California in Planning and Real Estate Development. Mr. Longhurst is an active member of numerous organizations including the American Planning Association, the LUSK Center for Real Estate Development (USC), the Urban Land Institute and is an executive board member of the California Wireless Association.

 

Flo Mead
Vice President, Trillium Companies

 

Flo Mead has been working in the commercial real estate industry for over 30 years specializing in the areas of project management, property management, tenant procurement and lease negotiations, as well as marketing properties both for sale and for lease.


Ms. Mead founded the Trillium Companies along with her partner Scott Longhurst in 2001 to provide real estate brokerage, land use consulting and project management services to their clients. Ms. Mead is responsible for managing the daily operations of the firm as well as developing effective leasing strategies for the firms’ clients. Ms. Mead is Trillium’s corporate broker and manages the company’s real estate salespeople and provides project management oversight. Trillium’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, regional developers and public agencies.
Prior to founding Trillium, Ms. Mead was a Senior Project Manager for a national consulting firm specializing in project management, leasing, civil engineering, architecture and land use planning. While working in this capacity, Ms. Mead was responsible for managing the Irvine, CA office and worked on large, regional wireless telecommunications network development projects.


Ms. Mead also worked for several years at a large real estate development firm in Southern California as their Marketing Representative where she was responsible for lease negotiations, asset management, tenant procurement, space planning and marketing efforts for a portfolio of over 5 million square feet of commercial and industrial properties. Ms. Mead served as Vice President/Corporate Real Estate Manager for a large family-owned business in Santa Cruz, CA and oversaw their transition from a working ranch to a real estate company and managed many of their development projects. Ms. Mead is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California and is involved in numerous local charities and business associations.

 

Tom Johnson
Senior Project Manager

 

Tom Johnson has been working in the real estate development and telecommunications industries for over 10 years. During that time, he has specialized in the areas of lease negotiations and project management and now oversees large regional network development projects for our clients.


Mr. Johnson was the first employee at Trillium and has been with the firm since its inception. Mr. Johnson is responsible for managing various development projects and ensuring that our stringent quality standards are met. Mr. Johnson works closely with Trillium’s clients to develop effective strategies that will allow them to meet their development goals while staying within strict budgetary and scheduling timelines. He also oversees various teams within Trillium and works closely with outside vendors and consultants including legal counsel, architectural firms, engineering companies, title companies, general contractors, surveyors and environmental consultants.


Prior to joining Trillium, Mr. Johnson worked as a Site Acquisition agent for several regional consulting firms and was responsible for site selection and the leasing of hundreds properties for several large wireless telecommunications network development projects.
